Responsible Fashion: New responsible fashion label Made With Manners launches in London

Made With Manners is a new fashion label redefining quiet luxury through refined design, Italian craftsmanship and responsible production. At the helm of the brand’s debut collection are Tania Hawilo and Antonina Irrera, two designers whose global experience spans couture, luxury ready-to-wear and contemporary culture.

At its core, Made With Manners is guided by three principles: refined simplicity, honesty and timeless essentials. Every garment is created to evolve with the wearer rather than the trend cycle, rejecting excess in both attitude and cost. The brand prioritises fair margins, traceable production and a genuine respect for process and people — offering a quiet, confident alternative to performative luxury.

The Debut Collection presents a curated edit of unisex essentials that strike a balance between structure and ease. Elevated everyday pieces are made to last, using premium fabrics sourced and sewn in Italy by artisans who produce for many of the world’s most respected luxury houses. Silhouettes are inclusive, designed for how people actually live, move and express themselves.

The Debut Collection

A considered selection of refined wardrobe foundations, crafted in Italy:

  • The Collarless Everyday Blazer
  • The Pleated Canvas Trouser
  • The Oversized Tailored Shirt
  • The Base Layer T-Shirt
  • The Everyday Poplin Dress

Launch & Expansion

The debut collection was unveiled at an exclusive media event in London, which I had the opportunity to attend. A second market rollout in Dubai is scheduled for early 2026. Future collections will continue to advance the brand’s philosophy of subtle design, mindful craftsmanship and contemporary responsibility.

Before founding Made With Manners, Tania Hawilo and Antonina Irrera were part of the design team behind Kanye West’s first collection after adopting the name Ye, contributing to early samples, including the now-famous sock shoe. Yet, their work for Ye was only one chapter in careers defined by craftsmanship, global literacy and a deep respect for design.

Designer Biographies Tania Hawilo

Tania began her career in haute couture at Elie Saab, working closely with the chef d’atelier on gowns

worn by Oprah, Jennifer Lopez and Keira Knightley. After winning a Puma-sponsored competition and completing her master’s degree at Istituto Marangoni Milan, she transitioned into ready-to-wear. In Dubai, she became one of the early designers at The Giving Movement, contributing to the brand’s rapid rise. She later helped build a fashion line for a high-profile celebrity, cementing her reputation for launching brands with clarity, commercial rigour and uncompromised design integrity.

Antonina Irrera

With over 12 years of design experience and a decade in senior creative roles, Antonina has collaborated with Virgil Abloh (Off-White), Palm Angels, Philipp Plein, Missoni, Max Mara, Adidas, Fiorucci and more. Named one of 2024’s most influential emerging personalities in fashion, she leads antonina-studio, a consultancy supporting new brands with strategic and aesthetic precision, and teaches fashion business and creative vision at Istituto Marangoni. Her work sits at the intersection of fashion, art, cultural storytelling and social responsibility.

The collection will be featured on the runway of London Fashion Week 2026.
